Marine and industrial software
The marine weighing software works with WPL’s motion-compensated R10 scales on board. The industrial weighing software runs on a Windows PC, tablet or in the cloud and connects scales in production, food processing and logistics. FAQ
Is WeightControl on marine scales the same as WeightControl Base?
They belong to the same WeightControl family. On WPL marine scales WeightControl runs inside the R10-based scale and is used through a browser. WeightControl Base is installed on a Windows PC or tablet and connects industrial scales; its modules add counting, recipes, SQC and in/out weighing.
Do the WeightControl modules need WeightControl Base?
Yes. Count, Formula, SQC and InOut are extensions of WeightControl Base, which must already be installed or ordered at the same time. The WPL App, BRS and the R10 Configuration Panel are separate applications.
Can weighing data go to my ERP system?
Yes. WeightControl on marine scales provides a JSON API and CSV export, WeightControl Count has a REST API, and the WPL App and BRS can be linked to ERP systems. Tell WPL which system you use when you request a quote.
