Description
The Overhead Rail Scale weighs loads while they hang from a monorail track. It is designed for the meat industry, where product moves along overhead rails through cutting lines, and it is available for capacities from 150 to 1000 kg. Each module uses two stainless steel load cells.
Fits existing tracks
The weighing module is small, at 482×152×86 mm, and has a reduced build height. It mounts on the structure of cutting lines and can be adapted to an existing monorail track and to other rail types. Where a standard module does not fit, WPL can manufacture it to special dimensions.
Stainless construction and load cells
The module is finished in AISI 304 stainless steel. Two load cells, made completely of stainless steel with IP68 protection, do the weighing and give a stable reading. For background, read stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L compared and IP ratings explained.

Indicator and calibration
A 5 m cable from the scale to the indicator is included. The module can be combined with an indicator such as the WPL R10 weighing indicator. Every scale can be supplied with an EURAMET cg-18 calibration certificate as an option; EURAMET cg-18 calibration explains the procedure.
