Description
The W Series is a four-load-cell floor scale for loads from 300 to 6000 kg. It is built as a standard W model and as a WI model finished in stainless steel, each in a version that stands on the floor or one that is built into a pit.
Construction and load cells
The load bridge rests on four load cells mounted with ball-and-socket joints, so the force on each cell always acts vertically. A shock absorber system protects the scale against shocks and overloads. The top plate can be removed to reach the load cells and junction box for installation, repair and cleaning.
- W model: four CS load cells and a junction box, both IP67. Options are a stainless steel plate and CSI stainless steel load cells with IP68 protection.
- WI model: AISI 304 stainless steel finish for corrosion protection in demanding environments, four laser-welded CSI stainless steel load cells and an IP68 junction box.

Floor or pit installation
The floor-standing version is fully closed. The embedded version, built into a pit so that the platform sits level with the floor, is open at the back.

Indicator and calibration
