Description
The BGH is a hook scale for meat processing. Pieces of meat are hung on the weighing hook, while smaller pieces go on the 500×500 mm weighing plate below it, so one wall-mounted unit handles both. It is available with a capacity of 150 or 300 kg.
Construction and installation
The BGH is made of polished stainless steel sheet, 1.2 mm thick. It is fixed to the wall and has a folding plate, and the hook sits 1150 mm above the level of the plate. A 5 m cable runs to the indicator, so the indicator can be placed where the operator reads it easily. For steel grades in food areas, see stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L compared.
Indicator
The scale can be supplied with the R10 weighing indicator, which offers checkweighing presets, counting and printing through its serial and USB interfaces. For hooks that run on a monorail rather than a fixed wall position, the overhead rail scale is the alternative.
Calibration
