Description
The Pivoting Stainless Steel Floor Scale is a 1500×1500 mm weighing platform for intensive use. It is built entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel and offered with a capacity of 1500 or 3000 kg.
Stainless steel construction
The structure is fully AISI 304 stainless steel. A smooth top plate covers the platform and can be taken off for installation, repair and cleaning. Four adjustable stainless steel feet level the scale when it stands on the floor or when it is installed recessed. Stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L compared explains where AISI 304 fits.
Load cells and junction box
Four CSI shear beam load cells in stainless steel carry the platform. They are rated IP67 and belong to accuracy class C3, a load cell classification used in OIML R60. The load cells meet in a junction box with IP68 protection, and a 5 m cable connects the junction box to the indicator. IP ratings explained covers the difference between IP67 and IP68.

Indicator and calibration
The platform can be combined with an indicator such as the WPL R10 weighing indicator. Every scale can be supplied with an EURAMET cg-18 calibration certificate as an option; see EURAMET cg-18 calibration.
