Description
The SSP is a compact bench platform scale in stainless steel, built for intensive use in small spaces. A single point load cell supports the platform. The SSP comes in four platform sizes and capacities from 1.5 to 60 kg, and connects to the WPL R10 or R5 indicator.
Hygienic construction
The SSP follows current hygienic design guidelines. The cover and structure are stainless steel, and the parts are cut with laser technology. Rubber protection around the load cell damps vibration and reduces noise. Four adjustable feet and a level indicator let the operator set the platform level, and a 2 m cable runs to the indicator. Stainless steel 304, 316 and 316L compared explains the steel grades.
Sizes, capacities and load cells
| Item | SSP |
|---|---|
| Platform sizes (L×W) | 300×250, 400×300, 550×400, 600×450 mm |
| Capacities | 1.5, 3, 6, 15, 30, 60 kg; others on request |
| Standard load cell | Stainless steel, IP66, OIML R60 class C, 3000 divisions |
| High resolution | C4 or C6 load cell, up to 6000 divisions |
| ATEX | ATEX load cell on request |
More divisions over the same capacity means a smaller weight step. WPL confirms which capacity is available on which platform size when you ask for a quote. Capacity and readability explained helps you make the choice.
Indicators and verification
The SSP is used with the WPL R10 weighing indicator or an R5 indicator. With one of these indicators, a verified version for legal metrology is available as an option. NAWI and MID directives explained covers when verification is required.
Calibration
Every scale can be supplied with an EURAMET cg-18 calibration certificate as an option. Read EURAMET cg-18 calibration for what the certificate documents.
