Description
WeightControl Formula is a recipe and formulation weighing module for WeightControl Base. It guides operators step by step through weighing several ingredients, so that each batch is made up in the same way and every component is recorded. Formula is an extension: WeightControl Base must already be installed or be ordered at the same time.
Step-by-step recipe weighing
Recipes are managed digitally. During weighing, the software records each component and shows:
- the total weight of the batch;
- the amount of each ingredient;
- each ingredient as a percentage of the total.
Formulas can be scaled up to larger batch sizes, and completed batches can be printed or exported as PDF or CSV. Formula works with different kinds of weighing equipment, from laboratory balances to industrial weighing systems, so the same method applies to a small laboratory sample and a production batch. Multi-user web interface
Formula is used through a web interface, so several people can work with it at the same time. Recipes are maintained in one central place, weighing jobs can run simultaneously, and other departments can be given access to the results. User roles and rights determine who may do what. Because access is through a web browser, nothing has to be installed on individual workstations and the data stays in one place.

In these sectors a small change in the ratio of ingredients can alter product properties or lead to rejection at quality control. Recording every component makes deviations visible and documents how each batch was made.
